November

Holy cow, it’s December already.

November seems like it was here and then suddenly, it was over.

We didn’t have a single adventure the entire month.

The month has been all about the furkids, particularly Audie.

Early in the month, he had his first sick visit to work with me. He was having some reflux and acting ill. Not sure what it was but we got him situated and he’s been the same happy bub since.

Poor pup.

Then, we celebrated his adoption day on the 15th. We’ve had him in our lives for five whole years now. I don’t know where time went, but it’s been so much fun.

The day we brought him home (look how terrible picture quality on my phone was then!).

Other than Audie having a heck of a month, we truly did very little. Mostly a lot of weekends at work and the weather has been funny. My car was having trouble with keeping charged (thankfully it’s been a couple weeks with no issues). Thanksgiving was entirely too little of time off but the food was great (tooting my own horn).

Thanksgiving decor.

We did see Bohemian Rhapsody and Fantastic Beasts 2 in the theater. That was by far the highlight of the month.

Black Friday was a work day and we didn’t have anything on our wish list so we didn’t go nuts. I did get 23andMe kits for myself and the Mister. I’m just curious as to what results we’ll get. I’ve only done minimal research on my ancestry/DNA, whereas the Mister can trace his family name back to William Wallace’s army (as in Braveheart William Wallace). It will certainly be interesting to see what comes up!

In other news, I’m trying to get into the spirit of the season but so far, it’s illuding me. I’m hoping to put up my tree in the next week or so, maybe that will help.

I don’t have very much time off this year for the holidays, but I’m sure we’ll make the most of it.

Until then,

Cheers!

A. xoxo
