HOW IS 2018 ALMOST OVER?!!
This year is ending a little too quickly for my liking.
I barely decorated for fall and it’s almost winter.

October was a weird, busy month. We started off the month taking in a movie (Venom), then went on to a get together with the Mister’s battery.

There’s no party without Arty.
That same weekend, my long time friend Tyler was back in Nashville for a few days, so we met up at Tailgate Brewery. We only intended to stay for a couple hours. Next thing we knew, we’d been through a whole pizza and it was getting dark.

Tyler and the Mister discussing everything under the sun (finally have photographic proof)

The following weekend, my in-laws came for a weekend and brought their pups. Audie and Opi are old friends but he wasn’t sure about Andy.

Opi and Audie had way too much fun.

We celebrated my father-in-law’s birthday, their anniversary, and our favorite Clarksville brewery’s first birthday.

Sharing a few pints at Star Spangled Brewery.
The following weekend, we had the opportunity to flex our creativity muscles and put together another Trunk or Treat design.

Stranger Things!
Audie made such a good demogorgon!

My vicious little demogorgon. We made good use of his old cone of shame.
We didn’t snap any pictures of our own costumes but we dressed as Steve and Nancy. We should have won (had there been a contest), but since the Mister didn’t get off work until after the Trunk or Treating started, we didn’t have enough people get a good look at it.
We didn’t give out candy on Halloween (the doorbell/knocking makes Audie crazy), but I did get my fireplace decorated for Halloween/Dia de Los Muertos.

And we carved pumpkins. They weren’t our best attempts but we made sure to do it.

Despite their protests, the cats got in on the costume experience too.

Hina made a cute ewok.

Jack was not impressed by his lion mane.

Taz took her costume the worst. She does not like being ridden by a cowboy mouse.
I’m not sure what November will bring just yet. Hopefully we’ll sneak something fun in there. I’m not too confident since I’m working most of the weekends and only get Thanksgiving off. We’ll see.
Until then,
Cheers!
