Oh hey… completely forgot to get a post going for August earlier.

I don’t have a good excuse. I never do. I just got lazy and can pretend I was too busy (I wasn’t). I just didn’t have a whole lot to post about. I still don’t.

August was one of our slowest months in the adventuring department.

At the beginning of the month we had the opportunity to take in a minor league baseball game. We saw the Nashville Sounds vs. the Sacramento River Cats.

The Mister isn’t a big sports fan, but it was his idea. So I was pretty excited to get out and about.

A couple weeks later, we had a Groupon for a local microbrewery. So we took in the Tennessee Valley Brewing Company in Clarksville.

Other than that, we didn’t do a whole lot.

We did go to a movie, The Meg.

It didn’t have nearly as many shark scenes as I thought it would. It was a decent film though. It gave us something to do.

The Mister has been away for training again since about mid August so I’m pretty boring on my own. He won’t be back for another couple of weeks.

In the meantime, I’ve been collecting ideas for Trunk or Treat (the FRG has finally done something fun). The problem is I can’t make up my mind on what I want to do so it’s still not going anywhere. I probably should have already gotten started if we’re going to stand a chance of making it look good. But…I’m slacking.

Like I said, August was a bit of a let down. I can’t see September being much better as I work 4 of the next 5 weekends. We’ll see if anything pans out.
