As per usual, I’m sneaking this in right after the month is over. Oops.

May was a little hectic.

We didn’t do a whole lot on the adventure front, but we did manage to squeeze a few things in.

We attended Free Comic Book Day as is customary for May. We snagged a few great books to add to the collection.

To add to the nerdy goodness, I added another Bombshell to my statue collection.

The Mister and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on the 24th.

We didn’t do anything that day, but I lucked out and had the weekend off, plus Monday off for Memorial Day, so we were able to plan a quick trip away.

We took on Chattanooga for the weekend. We did a lot of touristy stuff like:

We also got to catch up with an old camp friend of mine, but sadly I didn’t take a photo for proof. Regardless, it was a nice weekend away and we were able to take Audie with us.

 

 

In other news, the girls and I had every intention of heading to Bell Witch Cave, but last minute stuff got in the way so we rescheduled for June.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already June. This year is flying by!

Here’s to hoping I can keep the adventures rolling into the rest of the year.
