Isn’t it supposed to be fall?

I’ve completely fallen off the wagon posting every month.

First things first. Pow wow photos, as promised. It was a very white-washed event, but we did see some great competition and a few excellent pieces of regalia.

I adore the elder dancers.

October was a heck of a month.

That phone interview turned into a job offer. I spent all month working full time and haven’t had time for anything else. We didn’t even carve pumpkins this year or give out Halloween candy (which if you know anything about me, you know how much I adore carving pumpkins).

Now,  I’m having very conflicted feelings for said job. It was something I was very excited to start but I have quickly found that it is not really for me. I won’t divulge details, just know that professionalism is lacking and dealing with pet owners is not my favorite.

Luckily, there is another opportunity available with the same pay rate, but closer to home and no weekend hours. They company is willing to wait for my decision. I’m hesitant to make the leap just yet as I’ve barely been working for my current job, but…time will tell. I have a few more days to make a decision so I’m going to take my time and weigh all my options.

Other than that, life has been relatively quiet. It’s been ridiculously warm for November. I was really looking forward to fall, but most of the leaves around here aren’t even changing yet! I don’t have plans for the holidays (should my job not change, I will only have the day of the holiday off) and I’m ready for this election to be over. Hopefully I can find something fun for us to do so there’s more to update.

Until next time!
